AI Operations Audit

Exactly where AI and automation fit your business: what each one costs, what it saves, and what to do first.

Built for owner-run businesses: the appointment book, the quotes that need chasing, the invoices that get typed twice, and the customers who should have come back by now.

  • Fixed price, paid up front
  • 7 business days
  • Money-back guarantee
  • No sales call
  • Audit fee credits toward implementation, or take the refund instead

The guarantee

If we don’t find at least $4,500 a year hiding in your business, the audit is free.

Every finding comes with a dollar figure and the arithmetic behind it. Delivered within 7 business days, or it’s also free.

The value one is measured in your own report: at least $4,500 a year identified, which is 3 times the fee, with the arithmetic shown. If we cannot find it in your business, the report says so and we refund your full fee. You keep the report.

The delivery one is a date. Miss the 7-business-day deadline and you tell us within 14 days of it passing: full refund within 5 business days, no questions, no forms, and we still finish your report and send it.

Find a factual error while your two weeks of questions are open and we send you a corrected report within 2 business days, at no charge. Nothing else triggers a refund. The readout call sits outside both: if either of us misses it, we rebook it through the same link, no penalty.

What lands in your inbox

The written report, two weeks of email Q&A, and a live 30-minute readout call.

  • The written report: Covers every section of your intake form. Every finding comes with a dollar figure and the arithmetic behind it. Opens with a plain-language summary you can read in five minutes. Delivered within 7 business days of your completed intake form.
  • Two weeks of email Q&A: 14 calendar days, starting the day your report arrives. Reply to the email and we answer.
  • A live 30-minute readout call: Included with your audit. Walk the findings together, one on one, and ask anything.

That is the audit. The report runs to seven sections, and here it is section by section, the same ones a paid order gets.

Read this first

The whole audit in plain language, in about five minutes: what we found, in what order, and what matters most. Written to stand on its own, so you can hand it to someone who was never in the room.

What we looked at, and how

What you gave us, what we counted, and the command behind every count, so you can re-run any of them and get the same answer.

The findings, in payback order

Everything we found, ranked by return per hour of your effort rather than by size. Each one carries the hours, the money, the fix, and how sure we are.

What we deliberately did not pursue

What we considered and ruled out for your business, one line each, so you can see it was decided rather than missed.

What this is worth, and the bar we hold ourselves to

The arithmetic on everything we found, run twice: once with all of it, once with only the findings we are certain of. Then the standard we hold our own work to, and how this report measured against it.

The first 30 days, in order

Week by week, with the reason it is that week and the minutes each step takes. Something you can start Monday.

Appendix: our assumptions

Every rate, every working-week count, every judgment call sitting on top of the numbers. Disagree with one and the rest rescales.

Then two bonus sections, at the back of the same report, at no extra cost.

Getting named when a customer asks an AI assistant

What we check and what we fix so an assistant has something of yours to find when a customer asks for a company like you. Descriptive, never a placement guarantee.

AI Usage Policy (starter template)

A ready-to-adapt policy for staff use of AI tools: what is allowed, what never goes in a prompt, who approves what. The blocker owners name most often.

See it before you buy

Read three full sample audits.

Complete audits for three invented businesses: a branding agency, a plumbing company and a bookkeeping firm. Real structure, real sources, put together exactly the same way yours would be. Client names appear only with written permission. The proof is the work itself.

Step 2 · right after checkout

What we’ll ask you, after you buy

About 20–30 minutes. Save it and come back. It doesn’t have to be one sitting.

  • What your business does, and what you personally spend your day doing
  • Which tools you pay for: the accounting one, the booking one, the spreadsheets
  • How one job travels from first phone call to money in the bank
  • Where things get stuck, dropped, or typed in twice
  • The three jobs eating your week, and the one everyone hates
  • What you’d do with ten hours a week back

That’s it. Every answer feeds a specific section of your report. You get the link the moment your payment goes through.

What comes next

The audit is the map. If you want, we’ll do the building too.

Once you have your report, the natural next step is doing it. We’ll build any of it for you, one project at a time, at a fixed price quoted from your own report. You’re never obliged to. Every recommendation also tells you how to do it yourself or hire anyone else.

If you build with us, your full audit fee comes off that first project, so long as you start within 90 days of delivery. Taking the credit closes the refund window. It’s the credit or the refund, not both. Full terms →

Questions

Is this just AI output?
Partly, and deliberately. AI does the reading, the arithmetic and the first draft. A person checks every number and signs off before anything reaches you. That’s the product, not a shortcut.
Will this work for my kind of business?
There are three samples, and they are deliberately not the same kind of business: a six-person branding agency, a plumbing and drain company, and a two-person bookkeeping firm. What matters isn’t your trade or your size. It’s whether your week goes into booking people in, writing quotes, chasing them, and getting paid. If it does, the audit finds the same kinds of things, and you can check that against whichever of the three looks least like you. Read the samples and see →
What if you find nothing?
Then the report says so, plainly, and shows the arithmetic that got us there. We’d rather write that than pad a roadmap with automation that doesn’t pay for itself: the rejected-options section exists because saying “don’t build this” is most of the value. And you do not pay for it: if we cannot find at least $4,500 a year, we say so in the report and refund your full fee, and you keep the report.
What happens to my data?
Shared documents and access grants are deleted 30 days after delivery. You can revoke sooner, any time. How we handle your data →
How much of my time does this take?
About 20–30 minutes on the intake form, and you can save it and come back. After that nothing is needed from you until your report arrives, unless we email with a question, and then half an hour on the readout call whenever it suits you.
How much does the audit cost?
$1,500, fixed, paid up front. That covers the report, the two weeks of email questions after it, the live readout call, and both extras. Hire us to build anything from the report within 90 days and the $1,500 comes off that project.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?
No discovery calls, no hourly billing, no proposal. One fixed price, one report, seven business days, and your money back if we cannot find $4,500 a year or the report is late. And our own company runs on AI.

Ready when you are.

Pay the fixed price, fill the form, and your map arrives in 7 business days. That’s the whole process.
