Is something missing or wrong?

What to know before you buy

  • Check it chases the lead and books, rather than sending a booking link. A lot of what ranks for AI appointment scheduling is a smart calendar page that chases nobody.
  • Some of the cheapest run inside a customer records system you must already pay for, so the low price buys the agent, not everything it needs.
  • Calls and texts are often billed on top as you use them. One vendor’s $297 covers the software and the AI only.
  • Setup takes real work even when you sign up yourself. One vendor puts setting it up for you on a $2,297 tier.
  • Every new setter we found charges by minutes or credits, not by booked appointments, so you pay whether it books anything or not.
More from our research

How real (from our first round of research)

In the first round, 12 of the 14 we checked carry a vendor sentence saying the product books with no person in the loop.

Watch for

The genuine confusion here is not draft versus send, it is agent versus calendar link. A large share of what ranks for AI appointment scheduling is a booking page with smart availability, which chases nobody. Several of the cheapest named setters are not whole products: two run inside a customer records system you must already pay for, so the $0 and $97 figures buy the agent and not everything it needs. Pricing moves with usage, one vendor publishing rates as low as $0.02 a message and $0.07 a minute with no monthly fee, while another’s pricing FAQ says its $297 covers the software and the AI, with the calls and texts charged on top as you use them. Setup work is real even on products you sign up for yourself: one vendor puts having it set up for you on its $2,297 tier. Every new setter found is priced on minutes or credits rather than on booked appointments, so the vendor is paid whether or not the agent books anything.

What reviewers raise

Platform complexity, automatic renewal and cancellation are the recurring complaints.

Questions to ask in the demo

  1. Does an AI do this, or does a rule? If the answer is “when X happens it sends Y”, you are buying automation, and it should not cost AI prices.
  2. Does it send, or does it draft? Ask for the sentence on their page that says it acts on its own.
  3. Does it do it on its own on this plan, or on the one above? The setting that lets it act without you is often a tier up from the entry price.
