AI Dispatcher: all 6 products
Assigns the job to the right technician or driver and builds the route, rather than showing you a board to drag things around on. We found six products that do this, from six companies. Three can be bought with a sign-up form and three are sold through a sales call. Two of six publish a price. The monthly plans in US dollars run from $150 to $619.

What to know before you buy
- Check it assigns the job itself rather than showing you a board to drag jobs around on. Most of what is sold as dispatch software is a board.
- Automatic assignment is often a paid module, and at least one vendor publishes no price for it.
- Some offer an approval mode beside the automatic one, so you choose whether you sign off on each assignment.
- Published results come from fleets of around fifty trucks. A three-van business should expect smaller gains.
- In reviews, the complaints are about billing, support and cancelling, not about how jobs get assigned.
More from our research
How real (from our first round of research)
The question that separates this market is whether the software assigns or only shows a board, and most of what is sold is a board. All 11 we checked in the first round publish a sentence where the software itself makes the assignment or builds and issues the route, with wording including dispatching the right technician without any human intervention and automatically assigning the best technician to each job. Two of the 11 we checked publish an explicit approval mode next to the automatic one, so you choose whether a person signs off. The products left out are the ones whose only verb is drag, and four more dropped out when we asked whether an AI was doing the work, because the job goes to whoever is nearest or free rather than to a choice an AI makes.
Watch for
The assignment is usually a paid module rather than the product, and one vendor sells it as an add-on and publishes no price for it at all. Dispatcher also means two different purchases depending on whether you send technicians or parcels: the field-service side charges $25 to $249 per user a month, and the delivery-routing side $20 to $619 per driver or per order.
What reviewers raise
The complaints are about billing, support and cancelling, not about how well the jobs get assigned.
Worth knowing
The newest products in this job are sold to fleets and field-service operations through a sales call, and the trade content quotes drive-time reductions of 25 to 30 percent from a scale of fifty trucks, not from a three-van plumber.
Questions to ask in the demo
- Does an AI do this, or does a rule? If the answer is “when X happens it sends Y”, you are buying automation, and it should not cost AI prices.
- Does it send, or does it draft? Ask for the sentence on their page that says it acts on its own.
- Does it do it on its own on this plan, or on the one above? The setting that lets it act without you is often a tier up from the entry price.
