What to know before you buy
- These write and publish to your profile themselves. Rank trackers and audit reports are not agents, even when they are sold as one.
- Default posting is slow and fixed, such as one post every 7 days. Change it if you expect more.
- Read what it posts at first. One reviewer found the AI-written posts generic enough to need rewriting.
- This is the most small-business job on the map: 5 of the 9 say they are built for small businesses, and prices start at a few dollars a month, often as an add-on to a review tool.
More from our research
How real (from our first round of research)
This job is easy to verify, because writing to a profile either happens through the interface or it does not. Of the 10 we checked, five write posts, photos or offers onto the profile itself, two more publish to it as one channel among many, and two act on the listing record across directories rather than on posts. One vendor publishes a number for how many of its customers run it without approving anything first.
Watch for
A rank tracker or an audit report is not an agent, however local the product is, and four products were taken off the map for pushing listing details across or publishing on a fixed schedule with no AI deciding anything. Default posting rates are slow and fixed: one vendor publishes a post every 7 days and a photo every 10, so if you expect daily activity you will need to change that. Among the newer companies nobody sells this on its own; it arrives as an add-on to a review tool, priced at a few dollars a month.
What reviewers raise
Reviews are mostly positive. One reviewer says the AI-written posts read as generic and needed rewriting before they went out.

Questions to ask in the demo
- Does an AI do this, or does a rule? If the answer is “when X happens it sends Y”, you are buying automation, and it should not cost AI prices.
- Does it send, or does it draft? Ask for the sentence on their page that says it acts on its own.
- Does it do it on its own on this plan, or on the one above? The setting that lets it act without you is often a tier up from the entry price.
