All 10 we checked fire a text the instant a call goes unanswered, with nobody choosing to send. Nothing in that step reads, decides or composes: the missed call is the trigger and the message is your own template. That is automation. The job has also been absorbed: 9 of the 10 we checked are a feature inside a larger phone system, reputation platform or CRM (the system that holds your customer records), and no 2025 or 2026 startup was found whose whole product is missed-call text-back with a published price.
Watch for
Several vendors put the automatic reply behind a plan tier or a separate add-on fee, so the cheapest published plan does not always include it. Two name a one-time US carrier registration step before the auto-text will send to US or Canadian numbers.
